Striking Korean bandaji-style chest featuring richly toned wood and dramatic brass hardware throughout. Inspired by traditional Korean storage chests, this highly architectural piece is adorned with elaborate brass strapwork, oversized lock plates, geometric detailing, and decorative ring pulls that create a bold and sculptural presence.
Originally rooted in practical household storage, bandaji chests are celebrated today for their exceptional craftsmanship and timeless functionality.
